Purnima Ganju


Purnima is a Vice President at VyStar Credit Union at Northside Branch. She is also a Money Makeover Coach and helps members to improve their overall financial well-being. She serves as a President at Indo-US Chamber of Commerce of NE Florida. Her primary focus is to develop and implement a strategic, effective public relations and marketing program to send clear, consistent, and compelling message regarding the organizations mission, vision and capabilities. She is an effective leader and an experienced management professional with strong financial, sales and business development background. She possesses an entrepreneurial spirit and an instinctive desire to strive for excellence. Her work experience over the past several years has been focused on leadership, administration, business development, and marketing. Purnima also serves as a Financial Matters Mentor at Jacksonville Women Business Center for Jax Chamber and is also a task force member for Business Women of Color. Purnima loves spending time with her husband and son and enjoys traveling and photography.            




Anand Venkatesan
Executive Vice President

Anand Venkatesan, Vice President of SGS Technologie, has grown from an Information Technology consulting company into a full service software development firm handling both IT development and consulting. SGS now has offices in 3 states in the US and in India and Singapore. Over the past 8 years, Anand has expanded SGS’s expertise to service a wider variety of its clients. With Anand's passion in the ITindustry, he is continually exploring new lines of business to complement SGS’s core services. Anand is an active member of the Indo-US from 2004. 

Parag Shah
Vice President - Treasury and Pgm Mgmt.  

Parag Shah is currently managing the marketing side for Education Training Corporation DBA 'Florida Career College' which is a nationally accredited core career training independent college. His key role is to generate leads and enrollments for the college. His role helps the company generate substantial percentage of revenue on an yearly basis. Parag born in 1962 in Mumbai, India and had an expertise of entrepreneurship at the age of 20 years, when he started his first independent venture of Import, Supply and Wholesale of Ball Bearings in Mumbai, India, an active helper to his father who together owned a construction company in Mumbai, India.




Ajay Nair

Vice President - International Bus Development  

Ajay Nair is an advocate of Sustainable Habitat planning, development and growth. He is a CEO of that provide consulting services to Cities and Regional organizations from India. He recently became COO of His background includes Masters in Urban & Regional Planning (CEPT Uni), MBA (S.Illinois Uni). He is a member of United Nations Center for Human Settlements international experts roster, life member of Indian Society of Remote Sensing and Indian Institute of Town Planners. He served in several Committees to initiatives that promote enterprise systems and business growth. He closely works with Green Cities and Green Cities Institute to promote Sustainable growth dialogue and strategies.  
Tasneem Hakim
Vice President - E-Marketing and Communication

Tasneem Hakim was born and raised in Karachi. She came to US in 2000 to work for Corning Fiber Optics plant in Wilmington. Currently, she is working for JnJ as IT Lead supporting manufacturing. As a hobby, she create marketing materials for non-profits, volunteer for non profits organization such as Vision is Priceless and love to travel.  

Ramana Murthy

Vice President - Video Productions and Design

Ramana Murthy N. An IT Professional and an aspiring filmmaker. Currently living in Jacksonville with his wife and two daughters and works at Beeline. He started his IT career as a self employed small scale business owner in Chennai, India. Prior to moving to Jacksonville in 2002, he worked in Malaysia as a lead developer building a b2b application. In computer software his expertise includes web application development, database, open source and Indian language software application development. He is a Member of PPA - Professional Photographers of America and promoter of Mudra Studios. His passions include literature, movies and film technology and contributes to vernacular blogs.

Bindu Ravi

Vice President - Membership Growth & Retention

Bindu Ravi has Masters in Business Administration (UCF, Orlando FL) and Degree in Engineering (CET,Trivandrum, India). She started her career in 1992 with World Bank projectmanagement division of Kerala Water Authority Headquarters, India. Then shecontinued her works in the Middle East (Ministry of Municipal Affairs) and inSingapore (ST Engg.). Some of the major projects in USA include Tampa port Authority, FDOT, Charlotte NC. She finds time to serve for many communityactivities. She is also the membership director of MANOFA. Bindu is married to Ajay and is a proud mother of Aarathi Devi.


Shonal Patel

Vice President  - Media and Mass Communication 


Shonal is Vice President of Media Relations for the Indo-US Chamber of Commerce of Northeast Florida. Born with a nose for news, Shonal graduated from Georgia State University with a degree in Broadcast Journalism. She made her way Jacksonville to work as a field reporter for the award winning CBS47/FOX30 News. After five years in the TV news industry, she decided it was time for a change and moved into the field of medical sales, joining Allergan Pharmaceuticals’ Botox Therapeutic Division. She travels around the state of Florida to work with physicians and loves working in the field.

In her spare time, Shonal enjoys reading, traveling, and volunteering with the Indo-US Chamber. Being part of the Chamber has allowed Shonal to connect with the Jacksonville community and help bring Indian culture to the First Coast. She looks forward to another year on the Executive Committee and is excited about what 2013 has in store.

Vikas Hawaldar
Vice President - Entrepreneurial Growth and Small Business Development

Vikas Hawaldar is President of Yash Creations Inc. , a Jacksonville based Software Consultancy, Development and Training company. Vikas has over 20 years of experience in Software Industry and performed architect and lead roles in several companies in US. Vikas also served as President of Indian Cultural Society of Jacksonville in year 2009, and currently he is serving as President of Maharashtra Mandal, Jacksonville.  Vikas and his family live in Jacksonville for last 10 years.

Inder Arora
Vice President - Business Development: Real Estate, Retail and Motels

Inder Arora is a Vice President Business Development Real-Estate and Retail Sector at Indo-US Chamber of Commerce of North East FL. Inder is also a Broker/Owner of Aim Realty of Jacksonville. He has been member of the NEFAR since 2005, and broker since 2007. Inder Graduated from University of Alberta in BSc. in Psychology,  and Bachelors of Commerce in Finance. He has been resident of Jacksonville, since 1996. After running  several businesses, he found is true calling in Real Estate. In his free time, he enjoys cruising, movies, investment related discussions, and playing cricket. 

Rajesh Chindalur
Vice President -  Corportate Relations and Business Development - Engineering and Finance

Rajesh is a seasoned engineer with about 17 year of experience in the field of Transportation Planning, Engineering and Construction Management.  Rajesh qualifications include a Masters Degree in Civil Engineering from University of Texas at Arlington and a Bachelors Degree in Civil Engineering from Bangalore University (RVCE).  Rajesh has been a resident of Northeast Florida for the past 9 years.  He currently serves as the Department Manager of the Traffic/Transportation Planning Department of King Engineering’s Jacksonville Office.  Rajesh has worked on several public and private and public transportation engineering and policy projects in the State of Texas and Florida.   Rajesh currently is serving as the Vice-President of First Coast ITE (First Coast Chapter of the Institute of Transportation Engineers) for the year 2013.

Jatinder Bhan
Vice President -  Program Management (Events) & Marketing

Jatinder Bhan brings in a truly international experience having worked in India, Canada and in the USA, he is a versatile professional who has worked in the field of Marketing, Finance and Media. He lead charitable & not for profits organizations in India and Canada. He headed a team of retail operations for the General Motors India and became the leading channel sales outlet. He worked for the Banking & Finance industry in Canada and specializes in the Commercial Real Estate Markets. He runs a boutique Public Relationship firm which caters to the distribution and publicity management for the Indian Film Industry. Currently, Jatinder works for Florida Blue as a Project Manager and is associated with the Indo-US Chamber of Commerce as VP – Program Management.  

Bob Touro

Sr. Director - Youth Membership Growth & Retention

Bob is Vice President of Marketing for Jacksonville, Florida based Cybermax, Inc., a Microsoft partner firm specializing in web-based application solutions. Additionally, he is Assistant Professor in the School of Business for Colorado Technical University Online based in Colorado Springs, Colorado, where he is also a 2nd year doctoral student enrolled in the Doctor of Management program with an emphasis on Emerging Media. Bob initially worked with Chamber members in 2012-13 to perform an Action Research Study. The results of that study will be presented at an International Management Conference in New Delhi, India, December 5-6, 2013 at BIMTECH, Birla Institute of Management Technology, Greater Noida (NCR), INDIA.

Kalai Sankar

Director - Women Business  Development 

Kalai Sankar is the founder and wellness instructor at Shiva Dance and Fitness Center.  She is an ardent lover of dance and arts.  She is a well experienced Aerobics Instructor certified by the Aerobics and Fitness Association of America.  She is an able Personal Fitness Trainer.  She has performed and choreographed for several cultural events.  She excels in both contemporary and traditional dance forms.  She is broadening her field of expertise in dance by pursuing her studies in Dance and Movement Therapy and by learning Bharathnatyam.




Ramesh Ramachandran has over 15 years of experience in Information Technology) and is currently employed at “Citi” in Jacksonville. Prior to Citi Ramesh has worked in several Fortune-500 Companies including JPMorgan Chase, Wells Fargo , Federal and state agencies including Department of Justice, Department of Revenue. He has also worked with the Federal Government of Botswana in Africa. Ramesh has his MBA Degree from University of Southern California, Los Angeles (USC) and a Bachelor of Engineering from Indian Institute of technology (IIT, Roorkee.)
